We’ve been impressed with our clients lately.. almost every custom pet portrait we’re working on currently is a Christmas gift! In the weeks of of late summer we usually start to get a some early birds, but this year everybody seems to be on the ball!

We know that this year everybody needs to find a way to save and unfortunately that fact is having a major impact on animal charities and rescues. Traditionally when the economy is down, charitable contributions suffer proportionately, and now is no exception; reportedly donations are way down nation-wide.

Now that it’s the season of giving, we at Pop Art Pet want to help. So beginning today, Thanksgiving, we will donate 20% of all of our portrait sales to Best Friends Animal Society in Utah. Hopefully you’re familiar with the wonderful work they do, or you have seen their National Geographic show “Dog Town.” They provide veterinary care, and behavioral rehabilitation as needed to help hundreds of dogs in need find their forever home. And if they can’t, then they provide dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and horses a home in beautiful Angel Canyon for life.
