As the holiday madness marches on and the custom pet portrait orders continue rolling in we have noticed a trend.. the cats have taken an atypical lead over the dogs!
Not that it’s a competition, but normally our clients are far more canine than feline, so far this season however the cats are keeping up and even slightly outnumbering the dogs in custom pet portraits.
We should have seen it coming since our first holiday portrait order, which came in way back in June was for two feline friends, Riggs & Jester. Which brings me to the best part about working on so many cat portraits.. the crazy, kitty names!
So far we’ve met Texas Roy, Porkchop, and our favorite.. UhOh!
There’s still a little time to order your cat portrait, or dog portrait, or iguana portrait in time for the holidays, but we are filling up fast so don’t wait!
